About Babies Need Gear

As the parents of two toddlers, we know how hard traveling can be.  With our parents living in California and Hawaii we have been traveling since our first daughter was 2 months old.  Before she turned one she had already put 3000 miles in her travel log!  After a while I got tired of the hassle of toting so much baby gear with me and decided to look into an alternative.  That’s when I found a baby equipment rental company in Orange County, California.  They had everything I could imagine I might need for my stay. 

Once I returned home to Salt Lake I decided I wanted to provide a similar service to people visiting our beautiful city.  As an airline pilot my husband knew just how many families travel here to Utah and knew there was a need for a full-service baby gear rental company.  So that’s how Babies Need Gear was born. 

Our goal is for you to have a stress-free travel experience to the Salt Lake area.  Whether you’re here to stay at one of our world-class ski resorts or staying with family, we have the gear you need.  As a family-owned company you will be serviced by me or my husband.  Whenever you are arriving or departing we will work with you to accommodate your baby gear needs.
